Soave Enterprises Hosts YouthFest 2012 at Brambleton Town Center

Brambleton, VA July 5, 2012 - Soave Enterprises is pleased to announce that the 7th Annual YouthFest 2012 held on Saturday, June 16 at Brambleton Town Center was a success. This event was planned by teens for teens and included performances from the Battle of the Bands finalists, dance performances, interactive exhibits, prizes, food, fun and more. Nationally known band, The Ready Set, was welcomed as the headline act.   “We are very excited to host this popular event,” says the Brambleton Marketing Director.  “This is a great opportunity for local teens from throughout Louden County to get together and have a good time enjoying live music.” The event was held Saturday June 16, 2012 with the festivities beginning early in the afternoon.  The Ready Set was headlining the show and took the stage around 7pm in front of local fans.  The concert was located in the green space behind Sport & Health Club in Brambleton Town Center.  The event cost $5.00 per person and tickets could be purchased at local vendors or at the gate.  Brambleton is a master-planned community located in Loudoun County, Virginia.  The development encompasses about 2,000 acres and over 8,000 single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums.  Brambleton is owned and [...]

Courageous Persuaders Awards Celebration Recognizes High School Student-Produced Anti-Underage Drinking Commericals

Students Walk Aawy with $18,000 in Scholarships TROY, Michigan, June 1, 2011 – The Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) awarded high school students who took a stand against underage drinking with $18,000 in scholarships at the annual Courageous Persuaders Awards Celebration, featuring a red carpet arrival and hosted by renowned Detroit television personality Huel Perkins, anchor at WJBK Fox2. The awards celebration was held on May 19th at the Troy Marriott in Troy, Mich. The DADA is the primary sponsor and administrator of the Courageous Persuaders program, which is facilitated through the DADA Education Foundation. “This was truly an inspirational event,” said Bob Shuman, DADA Vice President, who represented the DADA at the event. “It provides hope that our next generation will not only make positive lifestyle choices, but will inspire others to do the same.” The competition, now in its 11th year, encourages high school students to create 30-second television commercials warning middle school students about the dangers of drinking alcohol.
