Manufacturing Models Growth, Inclusion, and Innovation for the U.S. Economy

A recent industry publication article highlights the important contribution manufacturers make in the overall U.S. economy. During a recent interview with Mark Muro, head of the Metropolitan Policy Program at Brookings, Industry Week discussed the important impact the manufacturing industry has on the national economy. Muro argues that the manufacturing industry is a vital component of the U.S. economy. He credits the industry’s positive influence to its continuing innovation and growing export capabilities.
