The ASRM Speaks Out about the Need for Accessible Reproductive Care

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine advocates for more affordable and accessible infertility care for patients in the United States. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) has published a white paper outlining issues patients face when trying to access affordable and effective infertility care. The Society states that only an estimated 24 percent of infertile couples in the United States can access every care benefit they need to become pregnant. This leaves nearly three quarters of infertile couples without the care they need to treat infertility and realize their goal of starting or expanding their family. Within the publication, ASRM outlines twenty-five different actionable items that can be addressed in the coming years to help improve reproductive health care throughout the United States. The publication was released April 5th, prior to National Infertility Awareness Week and is a valuable resource for those looking to support and advocate for better reproductive care.
