Is DOing change doing you in?

Bring ON the joy?

Now, I would like you to add something to it: “What else is possible here that would bring me JOY right away?” The element of joy! Bringing joy into your space can lighten things up. Even if it’s just to ask the question, to acknowledge it, to allow it to come in in a way that you have yet to receive before. And what if that’s all that’s necessary? Being okay with uncomfortable change?

Change by choice can be really fun and enjoyable, and, a lot of times, we may have an expectation of it coming in with ease. However, there is a possibility that it could end up being really uncomfortable! So what would it be like for you to be okay with change being uncomfortable? Are you ready to level UP your receiving?

Are you open to receiving or do you tend to find limitations, expectations, or conclusions that limit you from receiving on all levels of how it can come in? We tend to get in our own way. Like, we have an expectation of, let’s say, how money is supposed to show up, or how our relationship is supposed to show up, or how things are supposed to be. However, when we do that, we limit ourselves. We limit ourselves from receiving and being part of a generative, contributive space. What if the accuser is the accused?

Have you ever been in an argument with someone and they start accusing you of what they themselves are doing? Now the key word there is you, especially when they use the word “you”. For example, if someone says to you, “You are so angry.” They are angry and they’re accusing you of being it even though you may very well be calm. So what would it be like to be aware of language? Pay attention. When someone accuses you of something really check in and see if they are actually accusing you of what they’re doing. Mission possible?

The funny thing about that is, we tend to go into problems to try to fix the problems we’re suffering in rather than just choosing something else. How far OUT can you go?
